Even though I have a million things to do today, I decided to record a new podcast. The last one I did was way back in June 2008 – 10 months ago. Whoa. I didn’t have a direct plan when I started recording, so as usual, the music selection is all over the place. That’s just me. I started out with Sex Gang Children “Mauritia Mayer”…the long version. Looking back, it’s probably a little too long for an opener.

I’d like to more podcasting, but we’ll see if life will allow it. Wouldn’t it be nice if I could do one at least once a month? You’ll also notice, I updated the site theme. I’ll probably do a bit more tweeking in the next week or so.

This is Dark Culture Radio’s very first episode. It was originally sent out to the mailing list and was never released to the public. It’s about an hour long and contains music I mostly found on the internet. I don’t talk as much in this episode – just in the beginning. The rest is music. Maybe a good thing?

Sound quality isn’t as good as the shows being produced now. I used a program called Audacity – which was good for the time, but I’ve since moved on to Garage Band. You can also tell that I was a little nervous recording my own voice and spoke very slowly and softly.
